Our stewardship
of Mar Vista is approaching
a milestone, and
with that we have
this opportunity
to reflect on
our journey.

We acquired Mar Vista almost fourteen years ago, just before the
80 year old cottages were to be torn down and replaced with
a luxury resort.  We had experience in the hotel business and
we did our homework, but in the end the decision to undertake
the restoration of fifteen buildings was largely an emotional one.

Lucky for us what followed was just plain serendipity.
