Mar Vista Cottages

One of the most popular things at Mar Vista is a rope swing hanging from a tree! A plain, natural sisal, very thick, braided rope with a big knot in the bottom. You would never guess all the ways the children invent to swing from that rope, to run and jump up on it, to climb the tree and slide down from the top, to swing their little sister till she squeals with glee! Its just a plain rope swing, but it is almost symbolic!
