Fried Green Tomato Appetizer by The Squires
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
fresh ground pepper
1 cup milk or buttermilk
8 slices 1/4 inch thick green tomatoes
olive oil to cover bottom of frying pan
Combine flour, corn meal, salt, pepper.
Dip tomato slices in buttermilk,
then in flour mixture.
Fry 3 minutes on a side
Spread with goat cheese.
Sprinkle with pine nuts.
